(SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif.,) – August 16, 2024 – The Cabrillo Economic Development Corporation (Cabrillo EDC) is thrilled to announce the successful groundbreaking for their newest development, the Buellton Senior Village, a highly anticipated affordable housing community designed for seniors. The event, held on August 15, 2024, marks a significant milestone in Cabrillo EDC’s ongoing commitment to addressing the housing needs of seniors and senior veterans in Santa Barbara County.
The ceremony featured distinguished speakers, including Mayor David King of the City of Buellton, Pamela Gnekow, CEO Santa Ynez Valley Community Outreach and Amisha DeYoung-Dominguez, Esquire District Representative for Congressman Salud Carbajal. Their involvement in this event highlighted the significance of this project and the positive impact it will bring to the local community.
