Jorge Sandoval Ochoa and his wife, Santiago Montelongo, are two of the original residents of Villa Cesar Chavez; they have lived here since its opening in 2006. Jorge and Santiaga hold a special place in the hearts of their neighbors and the Cabrillo Economic Development Corporation (EDC) team. Today, we have the privilege of introducing you to Jorge, a retired and deeply appreciated member of the community whose gratitude and involvement make him an integral part of Villa Cesar Chavez.

Having moved in when the property opened, they hold a wealth of knowledge and memories, serving as a living connection to the community’s history. Their commitment to the property and active participation in community activities and meetings have fostered a sense of unity and belonging among their fellow residents. Jorge’s willingness to lend a helping hand and his supportive nature has earned him admiration from neighbors and Cabrillo EDC staff. His genuine care for the well-being of his fellow residents has created an atmosphere of camaraderie and support at Villa Cesar Chavez.
