The Ventura County Community Development Corporation (VCCDC) is a non-profit lending affiliate of the Cabrillo Economic Development Corporation. VCCDC was incorporated in June 2001 to establish a dedicated source of capital to help very-low, low, and moderate income families into home ownership.

Ventura County’s housing market has risen astronomically in the past three years, making it all but impossible for these families to purchase; through VCCDC, families can access fixed low-interest subordinate loans that eliminate mortgage insurance and increase their purchasing power.

Over the next three years, VCCDC plans to help over 175 families into homeownership through $7 million in subordinate financing, and through partnerships with a variety of second mortgage partners.
